The First UHill PAC meeting is on Wednesday, September 20th, at 7pm. The meeting is held at the school library. Hope to see many of you there!

• Welcome to all parents and students, new and returning, for the 2017-2018 school year!
• Events at last school year end:
PAC held the first annual Legacy Fund Silent Auction on June 16. We had lots of donations from UHill families, and close to 100 people attended the auction. Some Gr. 12 students share their UHill experiences. The event raised over $6000 for the U-Hill Legacy Fund. It was a fun and successful event. THANKS to all who supported and participated!
• PAC also held the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast on June 26. Many parents donated a variety of food, and more than 50 parent volunteers helped set up and cleaned up. Parents and teachers had a chance to chat and enjoy food together, and we also welcomed the new vice principal to UHill. THANKS to all who supported and participated!
• PAC still needs a Gr. 9 and a Gr.12 representatives.

6. Fundraising.
• This year we received Parents' donation of $10,536.
• Halloween Party – October. An informal event, fun, costumes, fundraising, etc. TBD by Fundraising Committee.
• Save-on Foods and Purdy’s Chocolates. November and December dates TBD by Fundraising Committee.
7. PAC’s upcoming events.
• “Get Together”, monthly informal U-hill Parents team building events.
• Principal’s night, Oct. ? (PAC Exec. approved $200 for this event)
• Workshop / skill building events, 2x semester. Anne Gong and Ms. Ansari.
• Vancouver school board +VSB workshop. Anne Gong.
8. Uniting and encouraging more parents to participate in PAC, supporting all our children and the school.
• Korean community outreach program through Kakao Talk. Olive Park.
