In late November, parents, students, teachers, VSB staff and a variety of contractors participated in a seven hour workshop aimed at identifying and prioritizing "green building" options for the new high school.
Meanwhile, UBC has been clearing out the interior of the NRC building in preparation for construction of our new school.

• Will U. Hill Secondary be amoung VSB’s first “LEED Gold Certified” schools?
• What new ideas for learning spaces are being explored for the New School?
• Will there be a cafeteria? Tennis courts? A real theatre?
• What about traffic and safety?
• Your questions ... ?

Attend our open meeting for all parents, Dec 16th, 7:00pm in the library.

‐ Hear answers to these and other questions, including your own.
‐ The topic is "New School Update". Guest speakers will include VSB design & planning people.

We couldn't attend. Can you please give us an update. We have a son in UHill secondary, a daughter in Queen Mary 7th grade, and a third girl in UHill elementary 4th grade. As you see, it is very important for us and would like to be involved and help. Thank you.
