Grocery Card Fundraising

This year, Uhill Secondary PAC is participating in Safeway & Save-On-Foods’ Gift Card Discount Programs for fundraising. This program allows us to raise money by shopping and pre-paying for our groceries.

Safeway and Save-on-Foods will return a percentage (~8%) of the total amount of the pre-purchased back to the school. For every $100 card that you buy, $8 will contribute to the school, and you still get to spend that $100 card. If every family purchases $100, we can raise $ 5,000 for school.

The Gift Cards are the same as cash, you can use the cards and still receive discount from your Safeway Club Card or Save-On-Foods’ Rewards Card. The Gift Cards are used until there is no remaining balance and can be used in any of Safeway & Save-On-Food stores in Canada. The cards have no expiration date.      
Grocery Card Details:

1. The cards come in $50 or $100 amount.
2. If you are paying with cheque, please make cheques payable to U-Hill Secondary School PAC.
3. PAC will setup tables at Uhill on Oct 12 & 17 at lunch time to collect the order forms along with the cheque/cash.  A receipt will be issued.
4. When your order is ready for pick-up, an email will be send to those parents who provided an email address and a bulletin will be display at Uhill website.  A date and time will be setup for student to pick up the grocery card from Uhill.  Please bring the issued receipt.
